Starway Roof Systems is partnering with local elementary schools, art programs, and youth organizations to give students in grades K–5 the chance to design our next billboard. One winning design becomes a real Starway billboard — and we'll donate $2,000 to the winning student's school (or the charity of their choice if homeschooled).

How It Works
Starway reaches out to local elementary schools, private & charter schools, homeschool groups, art programs, community centers, and youth organizations to distribute contest info and templates.
Each student designs their own version of a Starway Roof Systems billboard on the provided 5.5" × 20" template, including a hand-drawn Starway logo and the slogan "Reach for the Stars."
Each participating school collects completed designs with the student's name, grade, school, and teacher contact on the back, then coordinates delivery with Starway.
After submissions close, Starway selects 3 finalists and posts them on Facebook for the general public to vote on. The winning design becomes a real Starway billboard.
Who Can Enter
Participants must be enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade. Schools and organizations choose how they'd like to run the project:

Design Requirements
Every submission must follow these five rules.
The billboard must be designed and created by the student. Adults may assist with spelling only — parents, teachers, or other adults should not draw, color, trace, or redesign any portion of the submission.
The design must contain the student's own hand-drawn version of the Starway Roof Systems logo, occupying at least 30% of the billboard canvas.
Every billboard must contain the phrase "Reach for the Stars." Students may write and decorate the slogan however they'd like.
No phone numbers, website addresses, extra slogans, calls to action, service lists, addresses, or social media handles. The only written elements are the Starway logo/name and "Reach for the Stars."
All artwork must be completed on the provided 5.5" high × 20" wide billboard template. Students may use crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, pens, or pencils, and should stay inside the billboard canvas.
Be Creative
Beyond the required Starway logo and slogan, students should be creative. There's no required artistic theme — the goal is for the billboard to genuinely look like something created by a child.
Contest Deadline
All submissions must be collected by October 23rd — one universal final submission date for every participating school and organization. After that, Starway selects three finalists and opens public voting on Facebook.

The Prize
The winning student's artwork will be professionally prepared for billboard production while preserving the child's original drawing and style as closely as possible. Starway coordinates with the student's parent/guardian and school before publicly identifying or photographing the student.
Starway Roof Systems donates $2,000 to the winning student's participating school or organization. If the winning student is homeschooled, the donation is made to the charity of their family's choice. We coordinate a small presentation where the student is recognized and the donation is presented — a great opportunity for photos, school recognition, community PR, and local news outreach.
If your school or organization is interested in participating, give us a call or email us and we'll provide the printable billboard template, design requirements, and submission instructions.
